How to Choose the Correct Pallet Rack Upright Size
Pallet Size vs. Upright Depth: Choose upright depth based on pallet dimensions. For 40"x48" pallets, a 42" deep upright offers 3" clearance per side. This prevents resting on the wire deck.Warehouse Height Consideration: Select the tallest uprights that your warehouse permits. It's cheaper to reduce beam levels than to swap short uprights later.Beam Spacing Matters: Upright strength is highest near the base. Beam spacing at 36" gives more strength than spacing at 60".
